Re: Service changes during COVID 19

At WCA, our highest priority continues to be the health and well-being of our customers and staff during this pandemic. We have had three drivers from our North Houston Hauling Division test positive for the COVID-19 virus. Pre cautioning accordance with recommend guidelines, the helpers and other drivers who have been in close contact with these drivers have been quarantined.

Due to this situation, we are currently servicing household waste placed at the curb. Anything outside the cart or can is considered bulk or heavy trash.

Bulk or heavy trash service is suspended, but will resume on Monday, June 15th.

Recycling service is suspended, but will resume will resume Monday, June 15th.

Back door service is suspended, but will resume on Monday, June 15th.

Please note: If your community was serviced on a day that was not your normal service day, for example this past weekend June 6th and 7th or on Monday, June 8th, you will receive service for household waste on your normal schedule service day.

If there are any changes, you will be notified.
